Jake Ness. British 100m, 200m & 400m sprinter

Jake Ness

“In 2009 Jake was a talented sprinter at 100m and 200m, attaining a good standing in the Under 13 UK rankings before becoming plagued by injury over an 18 month period. First a hamstring tear finished the 2009 season early and then Jake was hampered throughout the 2010 season by back problems.

Towards the end of 2010, we met James. James diagnosed a linked series of problems and helped Jake overcome them. In the space of a couple of months Jake was running better, his sprint posture had improved as had his running mechanics and efficiency. Not only did James solve the underlying problem, he also helped Jake improve his flexibility in key areas.
This allowed us to target Jakes real strengths as a sprinter and in his first ever outing in the 400m he qualified for the National Indoor Championships where he later collected Bronze and along the way took Gold in the Midlands and South West Indoor championships.

He is currently standing as 4th in the UK rankings for U15 at 400m and in the top 100 for both 60m and 100m and 25th in the UK for 200m.”
